Then he interprets this interaction for his disciples (Mk 10:23–31). The man first asks what he must to inherit eternal life (Mk 10:17). In Mark 10:23–25, Jesus equates this with entering the kingdom of God. The disciples respond, “Then who can be saved?” (Mk 10:26). Thus the kingdom of God represents the same reality as salvation and eternal life. According to this passage, the kingdom of God is supernatural.
